Took car in for a recall of PCM module. They wiped the computer clean with no backup of data wiping out my 550 dollar dyno tune. Matt the service manager refuse to refund the money saying it was not their responsibly to tell me this would happen. Any computer geek knows to backup date before performing and updating or software change.
The were suppose to fix the heater in the seat and after 4 days told me the parts were two weeks out. The were suppose to fix the re-circulation vents as they would not open and they still are not fixed and they charge me 376.32 and refused to refund me that also. Matt totally buffalowed me and told me it only works in certain modes only. Lip service only.
After a 10 minute phone call with him he told me to go to a diffenent dealership and no refund would be make. My advise is to not use San Leandro Dodge as they are not reputable repair center. Also I had to call 15 different time to get update over a four day period they had the car. Horrible customer service and a horrible manager in Matt.
They severly overcharge and under performed. What I want is a 926.32 refund on my cerdit card. I have also filed complaints with BBB, Bar, and went to a tv show called Michael Finney 7 on your side. We will see what happens down the road. Next stop Dodges national customer service.

First, the so-called "dyno tune" is basically unauthorized hacking of the software in the PCM that is also illegal under federal and California law. Obviously, if the PCM is replaced, the hacked code goes away. That's not the dealership's problem, that's your problem.
If this was warranty work, they would have simply denied the claim, but since it's a recall, they restored your PCM to factory specs even though you tampered with it. They are not able to restore it to the state you had it in because that would be a violation of federal and state law.
