Scott Petty is a liar and a flake!  Over 7 years ago I first reached out to Scott Petty who worked for Hayward Pool Products in the new product development department for pool pumps.  We scheduled a call where he asked several questions and we scheduled an upcoming meeting approximately 6 weeks later in Las Vegas, NV during a trade show. 

We setup a date and time to meet, I showed up to the booth, asked around for him and was told he wasn't there but should be back soon.  We waited around.  Scott finally shows up and admits he forgot we had a meeting, WOW.   We pitched Scott and provided him with literature on several other items we patented. 

Scott Petty assured us he would circle back around and reach out to us soon.  Days into weeks into months I messaged Scott who once again seemed to have forgotten.   Fast forward several years later through mutual contacts we were in talks again with the company Scott Petty worked for.  We reached a licensing agreement Scotty Petty was often on the calls but more of a mute with nothing to say or contribute. 

When he would ask a question it was generally a stupid question.  Really Scott Petty, you're in charge of pumps?   I emailed Scott Petty over 7 months ago I emailed Scott and 4 months ago was told by Scott Petty "Since I'm no longer directly involved, I'll reach out to others and ask them to advise. 

Please note that I'm in Asia this week to visit suppliers so my responses may be delayed."   To date once again, ZERO RESPONSE, NO REPLY, NO FOLLOW UP!   From day one Scott Petty has been an absolute unprofessional FLAKE!  

We do not push this companies products like we used to as a result of our experience with Scott Petty and many others at Hayward Pool Products/ Hayward Holdings.
