SCRUFF ("Scruff") is a LGBTQ-oriented "dating" app.

I reported a user who brought himself to my attention when, just in time for the Primary Election of March 19, 2024, embeded into his profile extremist right-wing MAGA and Q-Anon propoganda. Scruff has suspended my account because I reported this Fascist-supporting wannabe.

Further, Scruff openly promotes and condones profiles of sex workers who are peddling themselvs as "masseurs" or claiming to be operating under some other see-through, intelligence-insulting guise. Not only does Scruff look the other way when sex workers post unpaid profiles, but Scruff offers a subscription level known as "Pro", with a distinct gold logo to distinguish "Professionals" from mere paying subscribers who are also known to have a Pro-level account.

In addition to their biases, SCRUFF promotes and condones the use of bots that pose as users of the app, but in reality exist for the sole purpose of displaying URLs that direct unsuspecting users to websites that are flagged as malicious and mean to download malware and worse to victims' phones.

SCRUFF should be investigated and shut down, and the process should begin with them being held accountable for thier actions immediately.
