Sequioa Tax Relief Promised a resolution, rebilled and was levied anyway westminster co

This company had someone call me, assessed my tax situation, and promised to not only protect me against the IRS but also reduce the amount that was owed.  They didn't probe into any of the things going on with my company or myself which should have been a red flag. 

They were hard to get ahold of once I paid them, and spent the better part of a month updating me and making excuses to why nothing had been done.  I sent them paperwork they requested immidately and once I was levied I called the IRS agent directly to ask why I had been levied.  She stated that no one had contacted her and that a payment plan she could just set up with me. 

I did and requested a refund from sequioa only to have them tell me that they worked all the hours I paid for and that there wasn't any refunds.  I found out from the revenue officer that this is common.  After doing some research I found out that there are reductions available for people and if you go with a company have them actually look through your situation and guarantee in writing the resolution.  If the paperwork just says payment plan and abatement, don't believe them, those are not likely to go through.
