Made a purchase for two rugs, after looking at all the wonderful reviews. Did not realize that the company was in Hong Kong until I made the purchase. Received multiple emails regarding when I would receive the items, I even received one that said how sorry they were that my package was held up in customs. When the package was received there was only one rug and it was awful looking.
I immediately sent an email because there is no phone # and that is when the excuses started. Different people responding, one said oh I'm sorry we have discovered your missing item and will send it out soon and the other tried telling me that it was sent and received by copying the shipping link. I even sent pictures of the rug and kept requesting they provide instructions on how to start a return/refund. They just kept offering a 30% discount on any item.
Then when I informed them that the BBB stated I should file a claim for FRAUD they clamed up. I have not heard anything back from them and I feel like they're purposely trying to wait the 14 days for returns so they can say nope your 14 days are done. Since then I have found multiple sites with people claiming the same thing has happend to them. That the perfect reviews on the website are fake. The BBB even stated that they have yet to comply with what they have asked of them back in September of 2020. They specifically ask not to send any items back to the address on the package which is actually a California address with a fake name. I ran it and found out that a person name Yunling Zhang lives there not Amy P.
The company that the payment went to was MEWE GALLERY Company Limited DUNS#68-709-3501 I wasn't able to find out more on them.
