Background: Vendor was found via Angi website for yard cleanup and was quoted $150. When he arrived, asked if he had other landscaping services offered, in which he provided me with estimates that I had paid. He asked me to cancel the Angi reservation in order to make a new one for the additional services, and was never refunded the cancellation fee of $15. > 6 month plan for maintenance - contact states every other week: $1500 - services only rendered 3 times - had to contact each time to see if they were coming and workers only came once I contacted. Vendor tried to state that only Monthly maintenance would be performed during winter months - THIS WAS NOT THE AGREEMENT. The agreement was to get maintenance every other week for 6 months for $1500. Other scams he tried to pull : My irrigation system is supposed to have a 5 year warranty on parts and labor - once I demanded my refund for the remainder of the landscaping service that was not provided, the vendor blocked me, therefore rendering that warranty ineffective. Vendor pulls bait and switch tactics and fraudulently overprices all services. He tried to charge me $1250 for a rock refill that I quoted from home depot at $350.
