S&M Relo LLC. They came in and loaded my furniture and didn't clean up trash, Unload was to be May 1, and they tell me my furniture is in Scottsdale, AZ, and I don't know when it will be delivered. Fulton, Radnor OH

I paid this company over $15,000 for the packing, shipping and unpacking. They called the day before packing to begin and said they didn't have anyone to pack me up. This was unacceptable. Finally they found someone to pack me up and put into a box truck. No cleanup was done. It was left up to me to clean and make sure everything was OK. Since one of the guys couldn't understand English, I found that several items were packed that I had told them not to...like medications, passport, keys, and several personal items.
The second company who was to move me called and demanded an extra $9,800 before they would put items in their truck. AND told me I had to pay an additional $5,500 in a money order when the furniture was delivered. This happened at the end of the day and I felt like I didn't have a choice but to agree to it.
It is now May 6 and everytime I send an email to the company S&M they tell me the furniture is in Phoenix. I am living in Haymarket, Virginia and waiting and waiting. The money has doubled since my first contract with Allegiance for $15,000. The money has doubled and the time frame has expanded plus giving money to the truck people is not on my bucket list to do. I don't have a credit card to do this.
I am 74 years old and they are just scamming me to see how much money they can get out for a move from Scottsdale, AZ to Haymarket, VA. PLEASE HELP!!!

Same Situation!

They picked up my furniture on 3/31 from Hilton Head Island going to Buffalo NY. Thy told me they would deliver it in 5 days! It has now ben over a month and I'm still waiting. I call almost every day and get the runaround everytime I call. A few weeks ago, they told me my stuff was in storage in Georgia and would move it within 2-5 days, but that was a lie. Last week, they told me that don't have a driver and are trying to hire one. I am at wits end and in a panic!!! I am afraid that I'll never get my belongings at all. We should talk...I am a 65 yr old recently widowed women. My email address is tripletfh@gmail.com.
I should also add that they kept asking for addtional money and I had NO CHOICE but to pay them. I ended up paying MORE money and had to leave many items behind.
