Southern Glass & Mirror Southern Glass & Mirror Refused to install window and trying to scam disabled elderly veteran out of monies Swansboro NC

Southern Glass & Mirror representative came to my home on I believe it was July 12, 2019 & took measurements to replace a window. I received a written estimate dated 7-17-19.   We were told it work will be done 3 or 4 weeks later which was the time frame for the window order. They did not come until September 16, 2019,  (a month past time). However, they could not install the window because it did not fit. * They ordered the wrong size window.  The window measurements they put according to their estimate was 32 x 75.

Then after conversations with them, they came out again a few days later-trying to find a way to make it 'fit.'   They then wanted us to 'pay' a carpenter to 'tear up' our home to make the window fit.  Now, please refer back to the estimate they provided.  The problem is that the window is 32 x 73. They were over a month late, then they ordered the wrong size window. 

They refused to put window in. They refused to do work per THEIR policy.  We do NOT have anything from them & they want to take our monies ($375)  for NOTHING.    There is no where on the estimate, and there is no contract (verbal or written) with us stating that we would have any carpentry work or to tear our house up for them. 

We have nothing and they are trying to take money from us for doing 'nothing.' To make matters worse, they took our old window out. We thought they put it by the side of our house, but they took our window- leaving us without any window. Where is our old window? After they refused to put the window in as promised, we had another company to come measure the window.

Afterwards, we measured it ourselves and it is 32 x 73. They other company took measurements and had us to order the window. Then about 2 weeks later, they installed the window in.  There was no rotten wood replacement and no other carpentry work done to my home.   Both my husband and I are elderly disabled veterans. 

They also appeared to have generated false records (email, etc) when we complained to them.
It is a shame that a big company like that would deliberately try to scam disabled elderly people. But, this appears to be what is happening. Don't let them victimize us like this. We have NOT received any services from them.  Please help us.
