HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! They have been charging my business for "Business Wifi" for almost 7 years!! We had no idea there was even a Spectrum wifi router in our building. They decided to increase the cost of their wifi on our last bill and when we noticed what the increase was for, I called them to have it removed from our account.
I was then told by a supervisor that we couldn't receive even ONE months credit for a service we have NEVER used and didn't even sign up for!! When you're a monopoly, you could care less about customer service or satisfaction. If I treated my clients like this, I would go out of business!! Great job Spectrum, hope you go bankrupt!

You own a business?

The real RipOff here is your Accounts Payable department who appearantly is so clueless that they had no idea what they should be paying.
What you have basically admitted to is that you let a company bill you for 7 years and had NO idea it was happening. Either that or you didn't care enough to do anything about it. If you knew the bill was there but didn't care to do anything about it, you can't blame the company several years later. As if you didn't dispute it how do they know you don't want it?
The fact that you didn't use it for 7 years is irrelevant. By the way you say that you caught this because they decided to increase the cost of their wifi on your last bill. I could almost guranatee you that this wasn't the first increase either over the last 7 years.
Don't get me wrong, had you come here and said that you saw this bill after one or two MONTHS I would be right there with you. But after 7 years...the responsibility for this falls squarely on you. If you eventually get them to refund any of the money, consider yourself lucky.
Great job Spectrum, hope you go bankrupt!
- If this is how you run your business, I would bet that you will be there before them.

You had this service not for seven days, seven weeks or seven months but SEVEN YEARS. Yet NOT ONCE in that SEVEN YEAR period, did you even take one minute to read the bill and you are now going to talk about how to run a business? What else are you missing on your bills that you haven't caught since you don't even bother to read the statements?
Absolutely incredible and absolutely dumb! Secondly, you don't even know how this cable company bills! No cable company has a meter on the building which measures how much you use it! Am I ever impressed!
Oh yes, it's all their fault for this SEVEN YEAR period when YOU could have and should have read each and every statement or have somebody do that like a bookkeeper which is the way a smart business person operates. (Now's the time to write back something equally stupid like "you must work for them!")
