Incompetent Dr. Robert Hooker of St. Joseph Hospital should not be allowed to be a surgeon.

I found out that Dr. Robert Hooker, who was paid 56,000 to do open heart surgery (repair of the hole in my heart and aneurysm) and double bypass left out repair of the aneurysm that caused the problem in the first place,  My cardiologist that i have now said the aneurysm is still there and was very visible along with the hole.

The incompetent staff also ran a bunch of lines straight through a tumor on my neck and turned it into a necrotic state.  They could have put them anywhere else.

The other reviews about treatment by the nurses and how one woman had to have her husband stay overnight to make sure they did not take anything out on her is soooo right on.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE      

So many of these reviews on yelp sound like mine....Especially the one that is from Disgusted.  I went through exactly the same treatment from those nasty nurses. My surgeon actually endorsed them against me.  No dignity at all. They tried gaslighting me to make me feel like it was my fault and i had almost died.  Yeah, and i was paying them, morons. They actually had a psychiatrist come to see me. Guess what, he said i had nothing wrong with me psychologically.. Immediately i was rudely treated and disrespected when i arrived at emergency room at St. Josephs. Their name is Dignity. There was not one shred of dignity in that place. I was dying, I had a gigantic hole in my heart and could not breath. They will gang up and bully you if you even say anything about how you are being treated. I made a mistake and made a complaint before i left and i was constantly bullied through the entire two weeks and three days i was there as they moved me through the hospital.

Dr. Hooker doesn't take care of his dying patients but kisses the bully nurses. All the other horrible reviews are true.This is what one man had to say about st. josephs hospital. " A place that should represent mercy, care, and respect for human dignity has instead become a stage for callous disregard and abandonment. The term "patient dumping," a ghastly phrase, is the only appropriate label for what is happening there." This is exactly true. I was so creeped out by cath lab experience i almost refused surgery and it almost cost me my life
