Avoid Stephen L. Langlois, DDS, run Manchester, MH at all costs! This man is nothing short of a crook. I went to him for about a year, and after two cap placements, he started pushing to add caps on at least five more teeth, claiming to find “issues” in minor imperfections on my back molars and eye teeth. It quickly became clear he was looking for any excuse to rack up unnecessary procedures and inflate my bills.

I became even more suspicious when I overheard his staff discussing the financial trouble his business was in, mentioning they’d had to lay off three employees. As I was paying for the appointment, they pressured me to schedule these additional caps, and when I refused and mentioned getting a second opinion, they got outright defensive.

After reaching out to the state dental board, I found out that I wasn’t alone—there were already multiple complaints lodged against his office for overbilling and unnecessary treatments. A second dentist confirmed all of this by outright laughing at the notion that I’d need any additional caps and mentioned he’d received numerous former patients of Dr. Langlois’s who shared similar horror stories.

This man has zero regard for dental ethics, using his practice to exploit patients with phony treatments for profit. His overbilling and clear lack of ethical standards are a betrayal of patient trust. I have since reported him to the dental board to expose his shady operations. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this unethical, money-grubbing dentist. Find someone who actually respects their patients.
