The merchant did not provide the promised services and failed to respond to each of my email requests. The transaction was cancelled eight (8) hours after the initial purchase was made within the Trade Commission's 72 Hours Cooling Off Rule. I was promised indefinite piano lessons, three (3) eBooks that were to be emailed immediately after the training session that occurred at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2025. I did not receive the books, nor did I receive piano lessons. I was also promised a Ridley Academy Piano Consultation with Soaz Santander at 2:30 p.m. Eastern time, Thursday, April 24, 2025. The consultation never occurred and was never rescheduled. My several email correspondences to Ridley Academy were acknowledged as received but never addressed. They misrepresented their intentions and falsified information to PayPal when they were asked to provide my refund. More than 45 days have passed since I made my purchase April 20, 2025, and they are refusing to provide my refund. They are stating that I must complete the lessons before a refund can be issued. However, they have not provided any lessons and have not performed a single service. Currently it appears that they are in the business of scamming me out of $1,397.00.
A bogus phone number has been provided in each email I received from them. They have two different locations listed on their BBB Report. Currently they have an F Rating. Also, if you do a background investigation on them you will discover a great deal of negative information. They have an address in Cheney, KS and Clearwater, Florida. The phone number I have 404-500-8241 was provided by the Attorney General's Office. I caution everyone to stay away from this organization. They are in the business of stealing funds from unsuspecting individuals, and they cannot be trusted.

Building Trust In The Community?

Boy have you ever been sold a line! Please tell us how SELLING AN A+ FAKE RATING to a slimeball car dealer which includes BOGUS, ADD-ON, PHONEY FEES to the cost of a car is "building trust in the community"? How about SELLING A FAKE A+RATING to a car dealer which has a well known reputation of fraud and deception? Like Isaid, you have been sold a load of horse manure and now come here trying to pedal it to others. Guess what? It's not going to work because legitimate and ethical business people all over the USA know exactly what the BBB is! Let's not forget the selling of a FAKE RATING to a business named after a Middle Eastern terrorist organization....Hamas!

Failure to become a member of the BBB does not negate its effectiveness. BBB (Better Business Bureau) ratings are primarily based on a combination of factors related to a business's complaint history, transparency, time in business, and adherence to ethical business practices. These factors are used to determine a letter grade, ranging from A+ to F, for each business owner.
“The Better Business Bureau (BBB) was established in 1912 by a group of advertising executives concerned about unethical sales practices. Initially known as the Council of Better Business Bureaus, it aimed to address misleading advertising and build trust in the marketplace. The organization evolved to become a network of local BBBs, now coordinated under the International Association of Better Business Bureaus (IABBB).
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
- Early Concerns:
The BBB emerged from a need to combat fraudulent and deceptive advertising and sales tactics.
- Founding Principles:
The founders, driven by a desire to improve the public perception of advertising, established the BBB to regulate business practices and foster ethical conduct.
- Organizational Structure:
The BBB is comprised of local BBBs that are independently incorporated but work together under the umbrella of the IABBB.
- Core Functions:
The BBB focuses on building trust in the marketplace by providing services like business ratings, dispute resolution, scam alerts, and accreditation.”

Failure to properly comprehend the FTC’s Cooling-Off Rule does not negate its full impact when violated.
The FTC's Cooling-Off Rule gives you three days to cancel certain sales made at your home, workplace, or dormitory, or at a seller's temporary location, like a hotel or motel room, convention center, fairground, or restaurant. The rule applies when you invite a salesperson to make a presentation in your home12. Certain sales are exempt from the rule, including real estate, emergencies, business use purchases, and vehicle sales at permanent locations. The rule does not apply to transactions initiated at the seller's place of business, or those conducted via phone, mail, or internet3
§16 CFR 429.0(a) and 429.0(b) of the Federal Trade Commission Rules and Regulations of the Cooling Off Rule that specifically states to “you are obligated to provide a refund within seventy-two (72) hours of purchase of consumer goods or services as goods or services purchased, leased, or rented primarily for personal, family, or household purposes including courses of instruction or training regardless of the purpose for which it was taken.”
“The Rule requires sellers to provide consumers with written and oral notice of a buyer’s right to unilaterally rescind a contract within three business days from the date of the transaction. Additionally, such sellers must provide buyers with a completed receipt, or a copy of the sales contract, containing a summary notice informing buyers of the right to cancel the transaction.”
Any person, business, or organization that fails to comply with all protocols related to the Cooling Off Rule is in violation.

Unless you were sold this lesson plan by a salesman coming to your residence or a specific contractual clause contains a cooling off period, then there is no such thing. Secondly and more important, the reason they have a completely PHONEY "F" "RATING by the BBB is only BECAUSE TBEY HAVE NOT YET PURCHASED THEIR PHONEY "A+" RATING! Understand this completely: The BBB is most definitely NOT part of ANY government or law enforcement entity. They call themselves "the bureau" to DECEIVE the public. The BBB is a "PAY FOR PLAY" scam ANY business can BUY whatever FAKE RATING they want and prance around lying to the price how great they are. That is why the BBB website has a "Get A Quote" page. Whatever "rating" the BBB has is USELESS because that "rating" IS FOR SALE
