STG Auto Group - Garden Grove, CA CA STG Auto Group Garden Grove Montclair Ontario Bait and Switch Garden Grove CA

I called STG Auto Group's location in Garden Grove, CA to confirm the vehicle they had for sale on their website was available to see, and upon receiving confirmation from the salesperson assigned to me over the phone, I made an appointment to test drive the car in half an hour. Moose (the salesman's name) texted me to let me know he had the car ready for me outside when I arrived.

Arriving at the dealership, I asked for Moose, and was told to ask the receptionist. After waiting ten minutes, he finally appeared and instead of walking with me to the car, walked me into his office. I was immediately suspicious, but humored him.

Then he fed me a bull$#*! story that the car had a "problem" (he never specified what was wrong with it) and was "in the shop for repairs down the street, and "as a straight-up guy", he wouldn't sell it. When I asked to see the car to check out the interior, he pressured me to see other cars they stock. At that point is when I had had enough; I got up and walked out - him following me out the door the meanwhile!

It was a complete waste of my time and gas to visit this dealership.

I should have known better than to purchase a car from this place: a friend's father told me he was bait & switched here 20 years ago. They've grown larger and flashier, but still are sleazy!
