I had a written agreement with Bridgette to make payments  for what I owed because I got behind when my dog got sick with Vet bills and then having him put down. I owed at the time $649.00 The agreement was I would pay $300 on July 11, 2024 and the remaining balance of $349.00 on July 15, 2024.

July 9, 2024 found out with a text message from Candace Wingo an employee who worked on the weekends (when it was Personal Storage) that the owner and Bridgette ran off in the middle of the night and US Storage Center bought the property. Candace told me that they were told about the agreement and didn't have a problem with it that I was her friend.

July 10, 2022 I called US Storage and talked to the manager explained my account was delinquent that I had been making payments he jumped in and said we take all payments for me to call 626 772 5951. I did and it was an auto payment and it would only take a full payment. Connected to a representative that told me to make a payment I would have to go to the office.

July 11 2024 Went to US Storage Centers 1210 County Road Pomona CA 91766 to make the $300 payment where the manager either Jeff or Jerry is his name said no he won't take payments. Asked him if I could put the money in an envelope and put it in my file he said no. What I didn't know was the manager and Candace Wingo had an argument and he was taking it out on me. I have a written statement from her stating what happened and what he said.

Aug 2024 chat box collected my info when she was done she got an agent. Candice joined I explained I have called, gone in and used this chat trying to get help. She said she would get this to her team someone would reach out to me. I said they never do. I mentioned a lawyer she said she can loop in her supervisors and someone would contact me in 24 hours. When I said I'm trying to reach out but it seems like they want me to lose my stuff I'm contacting a lawyer. Then it turned into someone will reach out to me as soon as they can. I asked if I could pay to remove my property she said she can't make that deal the property manager has to request it to their supervisor. I was told that I was given an offer and that it expired July 17 2024. She gave me the email address. 

Aug 16 2024 went down to Pomona site to inform them that the phone number they call from is a scam likely number my phone sends it to spam to please email me

Sept chat box told them still having a problem getting through to someone at the Pomona site I have emailed the manager my work hours are 8 to 5 storage office hours are 9 to 6 when I call it's a recording for autopsy

Oct 2024 chat box asked for an agent and got agent Gary I asked who I can contact about the manager for Pomona site. He said he could file a formal complaint for me and the supervisor would contact me. I said gone through this before that I don't know what his problem is why he won't respond but my bill is now over $1000 an agent already took my complaint no one has contacted me so I asked him for a phone number for a general manager he said they use their own personal phones they work remotely and they can't give the number.

I filed a complaint with the BBB with no answer from US Storage Center

Contacted US Storage with the contact us button twice no response I also sent a certified letter to the Newport Beach address with no response

I don't understand from what I was told they were going to honor the agreement I had then wouldn't do it after the issue Candace Wingo had with them. My 1000 page Family tree and history is in there along with my dogs paw print and ashes. I think my bill should go back to the $649 and I can make it in 2 payments. The only thing that got a response was my bad review. The owner responded giving me the managers email and that he would respond I emailed him he didn't respond. Dates of emails Aug 15 2024, Oct 16 2024 and Oct 24 2024 please help.

I'm trying to pay to remove my stuff but how can I do that if they won't answer me? They said tenants are entitled to a one time help if you remove your property that's all I'm asking. You talk to me like I'm some kind of low life you don't know me. How did I get behind on my storage payments. My dog started urinating blood took him to the vets almost $800 for them to tell me bladder infection $200 medication follow up appointment another $700 2 weeks after that emergency vet visit because they diagnosed him wrong he had bladder stones by that time he was peeing out pieces of his bladder. He went downhill fast I had to have him put down. I had 2 payments left to pay which I found out from one of the employees that the manager agreed to. I work Mon thru Sat 9 to 5 which happens to be the office hours.

Pay your bills and they will let you get your stuff.  Don't pay your bills and they will sell it at an auction.  They really don't have to take money from you, I'm guessing they are sick of dealing with your excuses and just want to clean out your unit and sell the contents to pay for the debt.  If you make partial payments, that just prolongs this process.  And I see zero reason for them to let you take your stuff until your debt is paid in full.

I really don't get this mentality.  If that crap is important to you, find a place to store it in your house.  Otherwise, get rid of it.  Paying thousands of dollars you don't have to store junk you don't need is just plain dumb.
