I'm writing this to warn others about the absolute nightmare I've experienced with Superior Services RSH Inc. I hired them to replace my roof in December 2022, and it's been a constant headache ever since. Initially, the new roof seemed like an improvement over the old one, which was over a decade old. However, it quickly became apparent that the installation was shoddy at best. After a severe thunderstorm, my roof started leaking and eventually collapsed partially.
I contacted Superior Services RSH Inc. multiple times to address the issues, but they were either unresponsive or offered half-baked solutions. Frustrated with their incompetence, I hired a second roofing company to assess the damage.
The second roofer discovered a multitude of problems with the new installation. The membrane patches were missing, the insulation was inadequate, the decking was rotting, and mold was growing everywhere. The drainage system was also improperly installed, leading to backups and further damage.
To make matters worse, Superior Services RSH Inc. had failed to adhere to code specifications. They used incorrect sealants and fasteners, resulting in a roof that was structurally unsound. The second roofer was able to easily pull out plywood boards from the roof without unscrewing them, indicating severe rot.
Upon removing the old roofing, we discovered that the decking was completely rotted and the insulation was moldy. The second roofer explained that Superior Services RSH Inc. had failed to remove the old decking around the drains, making it impossible to install the new pieces properly.
The damage was extensive. Many joist rafters were rotted, and the old fiberboards from the previous roof were still in place. The roof had also been subject to wind damage over time, further compromising its integrity.
I'm now facing significant repair costs and the emotional stress of dealing with this ongoing disaster. I'm considering legal action to hold Superior Services RSH Inc. accountable for their negligence and the damage they've caused to my property.

I'm writing this to warn others about the absolute nightmare I've experienced with Superior Services RSH Inc. I hired them to replace the flat roof of my mid century home in December 2022. Initially, the new roof seemed like an improvement over the old one, which (I'm guessing) was over a decade old. However, 8 months later it became apparent that the installation was shoddy at best - during a severe thunderstorm the ceiling in one of the bedrooms collapsed.
"The drainage system was also improperly installed, leading to backups and further damage" is a typo. They actually did not replace the drains or downspouts, but did come to the house after the collapse to inspect the roof and check the drains and downspouts and told me then they were not plugged.
"The roof had also been subject to wind damage over time, further compromising its integrity" is also a typo.
