I am writing to inform potential customers about a distressing experience I have had with Texas Capital Bank as I know that these reviews will go to the top of Google search page when people search for the company in hopes of warning others of this scam of a company. Despite being a loyal and responsible client, my account was suddenly and inexplicably frozen, leaving me without access to my funds. This has caused significant inconvenience and financial disruption. To date, the bank has not provided a clear explanation for the freeze, nor have they communicated when or if my funds will be released. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable for any financial institution. What is particularly troubling is the bank’s disregard for the immediate need for access to these funds. This freeze has also delayed a crucial wire transfer for a medical procedure, further exacerbating my financial distress. I urge anyone considering doing business with Texas Capital Bank to think twice. This institution has demonstrated a complete lack of customer care and a disturbing willingness to hold clients’ funds hostage without justification. Avoid Texas Capital Bank and protect yourself from this kind of financial nightmare.

What Exactly Did They Say?

AUTHOR: Irv - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 18, 2024

They didn't say "we don't know"! That's ridiculous! They took the action to allegedly "freeze" the account. Therefore THEY KNOW WHY whether you agree with that answer or not. Again what was the answer and if you're just asking a teller you need to ask for somebody higher. I will say banks have the "Right To Offset" whi h YOU agreed to when you opened the account. If you have a loan or credit card with the same bank and you are past due, this means they can freeze and take whatever is past due.
