Texas Machine Resource Defrauded of $1419 for ruined rotors, poorly painted calipers, and unserviced seals Rosenberg TX

This is a fraudulent business. The owner (Mr. Mitchell) seems have an issue with accepting work that they have no knowledge of, experience with, or any intention to finish let alone communicate issues along the way. I gave this business a set of four (4) disc brake rotors off of a car so that they could be resurfaced. Any competent machine shop can achieve a smooth finish that will not sacrifice the life of the brake pads, the rotor itself, or cause vibration among other issues. This shop managed to return to a set of very rough, but smooth-looking rotors that were wrapped in paper and plastic which made it difficult to inspect upon delivery. These rotors were ruined and there is not recourse with this business. I made the mistake of commissioning them to paint the accompanying set of brake calipers as well: I handed them off September 18 2024 and did not get them back until November 18 2024. Mind you, this was for normal enamel paint, not a powdercoat job! The entire course of those two months needed me to call and message the owner where I frequently faced no response or some untrue excuse for the non-response. The worst part is the price and quality of finish. I was originally quoted $540 for the job however Mr. Mitchell decided he could not deliver them until I paid him $750. I was left with overspray on inside threads, valves, moving parts, and unpaintable surfaces due to you know what.... a complete lack of experience. Mr. Mitchell was confronted and refused to fix his sloppy work unless he was paid another $275. I don't know what Mr. Mitchell's intentions are, but it seems to me that the machinery business is not his goal. What his real identity and intentions are is unknown. I hope the law delivers due justice for him and his accomplices.
