Thind Hotels LLC Johnny's Italian Steakhouse Looks to be a scam not listed

Submitted a job application for an assistant/receptionist postition for a company listed as "Johnny's Italian Steakhouse" -listing stated it was a temporary remote position due to COVID. I did my research and saw that this company was a real company- although none were located in either Dallas/Fort Worth as the listing stated. I thought , OK! no problem, they are trying to expand or something in the bigger metroplex.

I was contacted by a someone named Doris via Text regarding my application at a number (732) 276-2253 ( a NJ area code) which i thought was strange because none of the locations from the website at "Johnny's Italian Steakhouse" was located in NJ- their headquarters is in IA ( i believe). She stated to create a google acount if I didn't have one, and send a message to a Caroline Parker at Carolineparker102@gmail.com the "hiring manager". I did as requested.

After attempting to do more research I noticed the listing I applied to on INDEED was removed (assuming because they thought they had caught their "sucker" (me). I emailed Doris and asked her to verify the location address as I wasn't finding any location under that name in Dallas or Fort Worth. She never responded. I went to click on the link sent to my email regarding my application. Once I clicked on the location of "Johnny's Italian Steakhouse" it sent me to https://www.indeed.com/cmp/Thind-Hotels,-LLC?attributionid=IAconfirm

When I even hovered over the Company name on my email confirmation- it says THIRD PARTY LLC ADCAMPAIGN something email address...THIND HOTELS LLC- who is this? I have never heard of this. No reviews-not verified..not even searchable on GOOGLE! They also updated their job posting earlier today that stated "Experience in title industry prefferred"- what does that have anything to do with working for a restaraunt in this position?

They have been posting on other platforms as well such as Kareo for the same thing. Once I confronted this "Caroline Parker" I let her know I was no longer interested because it didn't feel legitamate. She was instantly defensive and said "this is how you operate??" I told her what I found and I didn't want to be scammed. Told her to have a nice day and blocked her. Better safe than sorry.
