Tiffany came to clean my house and asked for the money up front. She asked for this because she feared being evicted and losing her child custody.  She sat on my floor and cried  and cried, I am a mother too.  I have children with a man I divorced.  I felt her pain. I had her sign a contract with me to pay back the money by working it off.   She took the money and never showed up again.  She refuses to refund the money, although she admits she owes me.

 Another person she did the same thing showed up on Facebook and posted that she too had been stolen from.  After seeing that, I told her you cannot work for me.  Pay back the money. In short, she took the $3000 and never did the work.   It's still simple:   Unjust Enrichment.    I gave her a benefit, she used the money for her benefit.  It is unfair, and unjust for her to retain the money I gave her without fulfilling her end of the bargain.
