Title Boxing Club University Park Refuses to do an extended hold/refund/or stop charges during pandemic Sarasota Florida

What a huge mistake I made by joining this club. Disgusting, the lack of compassion they have during this Pandemic. All they see is money. I am in FL (Sarasota) mind you where the numbers are nuts. They refuse to extend my hold for another three months, insist on keeping the money for the month I have not used as well as insisting on charging me for a full month as a cancellation fee. DURING A PANDEMIC, IN FLORIDA!!! They feel as though they are doing enough to keep the place sanitary therefore I should also feel comfortable and have no excuse to not return to the gym.

I let them know I will just cancel my credit card and they threatened to then send the account to collections if they couldn't charge me. Absolutely outrageous. I did plan on returning when I was comfortable with COVID numbers going down but there is no chance I would even consider it now. Do not get caught up in this place. Plenty of other facilities that would work on a professional, humane level with you during a Pandemic.

Also, trying to get a phone number for corporate headquarters is impossible. I contacted a number (913-210-1110) in Kansas that then gave me a disconnected number for Corporate. I feel this needs to be made very public and I am on it!!!!!
