Total Real Estate of Nevada They are an obvious money scam... don't lose your money as I did Las Vegas NV

Terribly rude and condescending. The property I was interested in has been on the market and available for nearly half a year without any movement, but it is something that (due to location and size) still interested me. I spoke with two representatives regarding my application prior to turning it in (knowing that the four factors they base things off of are Rental History, FICO, income, and debt ratio) and was 100% transparent about each of these issues.

My Rental History is stellar
My salary is approximately 3.5 times the rent
I have no outstanding debt (because my salary is high enough)
My credit score is still low because I am recovering still from the divorce.

I was told by Carly (and another young lady, I forgot her name) that even though my credit score is still below 550, the other aspects may qualify me, so I turned in my application and paid the $90 processing fee. My current landlord told me they received a request to release my rental history, and asked if it was okay with me... I said of course. Well, this afternoon, I received a call from someone named Steve who definitely does not have an indoor voice. He told me that the security deposit would be in excess of $10,000 to move in due to my FICO... and when I brought up the earlier conversations I'd had, he was obviously uninterested. I brought up the fact that the house has been listed for rent since the beginning of the year, and said that it was silly for the owners not to have any revenue for that amount of time, and that I would be interested in still pursuing this rental, but not for such an exorbitant deposit. In response, Steve started arguing with me, then hung up on me.

Never rent from this management company.
They are shysters, and Steve is horrendously rude.
I will be contacting the owners of this property directly this weekend.
