We had an awful experience with Turnkey Rentals! First off the place we originally rented @ the Dawn condominiums was no longer available less than 24 hours before arrival date due to a maintenance issue. That was very disappointing especially since this trip was to celebrate my 1 year wedding anniversary. We had to go with another rental property that was somewhat near our original rental choice. The location of our new rental was off avenue Q with access via an alley which is very easily missed.

Very easy to get lost. Upon arrival the door code didnt work. Called support # and was given 2 other codes to try and they didnt work either. We were then given a code for the masterlock and had to use a key to access door. We were told someone would come out to fix the door code and no one ever showed up or called the entire 3 days we were there. The home was filthy in some areas.

The water smelled like rotten eggs and smelled up the entire house. Sheets were dirty. I had to launder sheets the first night of our stay. Bugs found. 3 tvs in home and none of them worked. WIFI spotty. No tablet or book in home to show where anything is in home or how to operate things. Called support and Lilly was unable to help but said she would reimburse us for no tv for the night and send someone in the morning. No one ever came the next morning or the following 2 days.

We text the support # and just got a response saying that lilly was not in office but another manager would call us shortly but that didnt happen. Cold front came in Saturday night and the heat was not working. I have requested reimbursement for this trip because cleanliness and heat are neccessities not luxury to me especially in this pandemic.

I have reached out to the company numerous times. They keep telling me they are escalating the issue. No one has responded to ant requests. I sent a request through the resolution center of airbnb. No response. Airbnb said they would try to help but still no response from Turnkey.
