Uber Eats Delivery Driver Road Raged to Deliver Food San Francisco California

On Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 11:44 a.m., I was driving west on Thomas Rd., approaching Central Ave. in Phoenix (Maricopa County). A car came up fast behind me. When a pedestrian began crossing, I slowed—he didn’t. Instead, he punched it, swerving around me rather than stopping for the person in the crosswalk.

Minutes later, we both pulled into the Park Central plaza. I was grabbing a pre‑ordered Jimmy John’s; he was picking up for First Watch—turns out he was an Uber Eats driver. He whipped a U‑turn across the lane and blocked me from parking. I had to back up to avoid being hit. He jumped out and screamed, “F** your mother in the a**.”*

I told him he needed to leave and that he could be trespassed from the property. He ignored me, kept shouting, then casually picked up his customer’s order. He wasn’t using an insulated bag, and I watched him grab the drink by the lid with visibly dirty hands—so much for food safety.

As he left, he cut off a red Jeep in the lot for good measure.

If this is the standard Uber Eats is okay with, Phoenix deserves better. Reckless driving, harassment, and sloppy food handling aren’t “gig economy quirks”—they’re safety issues. I’ve seen too many delivery drivers acting like this lately, and it needs to stop.
