The owner of this company indicates online they are a funding company but this is not true. They instead are helping to facilitate an advance fee loan scam. The company that they are helping is called the funding shark. They request an upfront fee of $1000 to be sent via Zelle. They do not have the right to request fees for services they have not yet performed.
I was told verbally that the fee was for attorneys they work with but they never revealed the name of the law firm. The $1000 fee is actually sent to a individual who refers to herself as President Karen Jackson with the Funding Shark. The email address she uses is Admin@thefundingshark.com. The phone number she uses is 215-309-7209.
Another person involved in this scam is Ebone Clark. The email uses is mentor@thefundingshark.info. Her only function was to send copies of dispute letters to their victims which can be found on the internet for free. This company is not a lender so they should not be promoting this fact online which is very misleading.
As if 9.2.2024 the website https://www.thefundingshark.com/ is no longer active which is no surprise. The website used for Urown Investing LLC is also down. It was previously owned by Gossie Nworu who actually still has the company registered on Bizapedia. I left a negative review on that website as well. I may not get my money back, but at least I can stop others from becoming victims!

Don't worry about that heartless idiot who made the nasty comment. I just watched a editorial on TV where people who thought they were pretty alert to financial scams fall for them as well. One of them worked in the fraud department for one of the big banks. Scammers are skilled at separating people from their money cause thats is all they do!

You believed all this crap they told you and you STILL sent them money???? Do yourself a favor.....get yourself a "keeper" and have your keeper take you for treatment for your incredible and very obvious LACK OF COMMON SENSE!
