I was hired by Mount Olympus Rehabilitation on the spot. When payday came, I wasn't paid, so I quit. I tried to let the Utah Department of Workforce Service (Victoria) know what happened, but she charged me with fraud, and said that I had no right to quit a job that doesn't pay. Wow, what was I thinking, in Utah you have to be a slave if chosen, so sorry, what was poor me thinking? I reported this to the Utah Labor Commission. I am on my way out of Utah, because I just discovered Utah is still a slave state. How they can uphold slave laws in 2023 in beyond me.
On another level, this could be considered human trafficking. So, the Utah Department of Workforce, enforces slave labor, AND Human Trafficking? Stay away from Utah.
