Hi everyone,

I want to alert you about a scammer named Vicky Botting-Hall from Southampton. She listed an Air Purifier for £58, including shipping, on Facebook Marketplace. After I transferred the money directly to her bank account, she did not send the item and has ignored all my attempts to contact her.

Please be vigilant and avoid any dealings with Vicky Botting-Hall on Facebook Marketplace. Do not transfer any money to her as she is fraudulent and will disappear once she has your funds.

Stay safe and always double-check the legitimacy of sellers before making any transactions.

Thank you.

Duh?

It's almost certainly an old account that used to belong to this lady that got hijacked by a scammer. So you are just slandering her for no reason. Next time, use your brain. Why would someone be selling a $500 air purifier for less than what it would cost to ship it? Why would you pay someone you don't know with a bank transfer? Facebook marketplace is meant to be used in person, not for items that get shipped.
