For someone who talks about morals and ethics, you are one of the most vulgar people who I have seen post on this site.  If you displayed even a fraction of the attitude you showed here to the Managers and Customer Service people, it is no wonder they didn't do anything for you.  Courtesy in your case may have gone a long way to having them want to help you, instead of them probably just wanting to get you out of their face.

With your attitude and extreme lack of detail, I wouldn't doubt that your comparisons weren't exactly apples to apples and you are leaving out a lot of details that you just decided to ignore.

I wonder though, based on your post you actually state you are from a location that is closer to the Layton store and you would have had to travel a significantly longer distance to go to the Centerville one.  In fact there appears to be 3-4 other Walmart’s all closer to you than the Centerville store.  If this printer was that important, why didn't you try those stores as well?

That printer may no longer cost $19 when it’s back in stock. Merchants are under no obligation to price match other locations. The FTC has more important issues than to address your inane complaint. Tell us what law Walmart has violated.

What an idiot.  No store is going to price compete against itself, whether it's Walmart, or Target, or any other store.  If you want to price compete with another Walmart, then that's on you to do.  If you don't understand why a Walmart won't compete against itself, I will use your own words:

There, now you said that.  Let me explain what that means (since you don't) and why you are an idiot:  

Since it's a corporation, they have no obligation or desire to price compete because they are then competing against itself.  Now, if Walmart's were franchises, it might be a different story.  You might see one franchisee compete against another for low price.  But since it it's a corporation with stores all over the country, then why should they?  The corporation isn't going to compete against itself.  If you don't understand that, I can write this in crayon for you and perhaps draw some nice pictures. 

The reason you can't do that at Amazon is, of course, Amazon only has an internet presence to shop, not brick and mortar stores, so you get one price.  Of course, you can always go to walmart.com - you can get one price there as well, because it is the internet arm of the store, just like Amazon.com.  Just like Target.com.  If Amazon had brick and mortar presences (and they will soon), then you could not price compete against Amazon's various stores because....uh...they are also a corporation, and not a franchise.

The reason people don't like Walmart has nothing to do with your complaint, largely because your claim is completely stupid.  People complain about Walmart because it (a) drives out smaller retailers from a city when one opens up, and (b) pays its people less than a "living wage" whatever the heck that means.  Now, you could pay higher at a smaller store, but why?  So the people that work there can also make less than a living wage, whatever that means?

The best thing to do is quit shopping at Walmart altogether, if that is possible. They are higher than other stores on most of what they sell anyway. Walmart has convinced everyone that they are the lowest price store. They are NOT. Target is cheaper than Walmart on many, many items.

I have not been in a Walmart in at least 10 years and don't intend to ever go back in one. What you ran into is common at Walmart. I have heard all the Walmarts here do the same thing. Prices are different at every store.

Best thing, don't give them your business unless you absolutely have to. They are crooks, they sell junk and they treat their employees like crap. They are evil.
