I was recently contacted by a representative from TrustFi, and what followed was extremely alarming. They reached out using contact information that was never publicly shared, which strongly suggests they are actively purchasing or accessing stolen data to solicit leads.

Even more disturbing, they are impersonating my legitimate business—falsely claiming affiliation or making it seem like they are somehow connected to us in order to gain trust. This is not just unethical—it’s illegal. These tactics are predatory, deceptive, and deeply damaging to real businesses working hard to maintain their reputation.

I have filed formal complaints with the FTC and my State Attorney General, and I strongly urge others to exercise caution if you are contacted by TrustFi. This company appears to be engaging in data misuse, brand impersonation, and misleading business practices.

Avoid at all costs and report any suspicious activity to the proper authorities.

They are in active litigation for exactly the same thing buy and using stolen data
