Wave Apps They are sending fraudulent invoices with our company name on them for payment to some third party Scottsdale AZ

We received a call from what was probably a telemarketer the other day firstly lying saying that had someone who wanted to send us a payment and they needed to speak with someone in charge of accounting. 

When I returned the call they changed the story, suggesting that we might want to use their payment processing services with their email app so we could get our money "quickly" without waiting for clients to send checks in the US mail.  I told them we were not interested and hung up. 

The day after I received an email from the wave app saying someone is trying to send you a payment please click here to accept.  I knew that the business named was not anyone that would be sending us a payment so I deleted this email and blocked them from further emails. 

Today, I received a forwarded email from a business of which we have never dealt with inquiring as to why we were sending them an invoice?  The forwarded email showed what they were sent which was an email with an invoice tab to click and pay with our logo on it and our business name and address. 

Someone has obviously taken a screenshot of our name and logo and they are falsely sending out invoices.  Whether these fraudulent invoices and payments are from the waveapp company itself or a user of it - I find it odd the series of coincidences over three days time.   

BEWARE of scammers using this APP!!  I would think twice about sending payments through this system.
