I hired John Pacella of Welcome Home, Home Inspections to do an inspection of a property I was considering purchasing and he missed many major defects in the property that within days of taking possession of the property I made him aware of and all he did was argue about everything and use his go-to line of "an inspection is a snapshot in time".
His 100-day satisfaction guarantee is a joke, the warranty service he promotes has a $500 limit and that is only for structural defects nothing mechanical (electric, plumbing, appliances, etc.) and he promotes a 100% satisfied customer rate despite having some negative reviews online.
His carelessness cost me over $25K in unexpected repairs within the first few weeks of taking possession of the property yet he argued every step of the way and eventually refused to communicate with me despite being provided evidence of each missed item. You hire an inspector to help protect you as a potential buyer and you will definitely not get that with John Pacella or Welcome Home, Home Inspections
