To start with my sales guy told me if I changed my mind, I had three days to do it. Second, when we discussed the interest rates my sales guy gave me numbers that were inaccurate and much lower than what they put on the finance agreement. Moreover, the finance agreement had 10 blank pages and an additional fee of $3400.00 and when I asked  what the fee was for the manager told me it was the cost of doing business with them because they had bills.

In addition, as I stood up from the sales desk, they brought the car around to me out front. When I approached the car, I noticed it had a cracked window, fast food wrappers all throughout the back seat and it was absolutely dirty as hell. I then decided to not leave with the car and left with my friend. I came back an hour later and decided I didnt want to do business with this dealership and I wanted my 6K down payment.

The general manager said no unless I let him keep the 6K down payment for his time. I had to call him for the next two weeks 6 days a week and each and every time he avoided my calls. Then when I spoke with him, he would pass me off to someone else.  Between myself, my son and my friend, we probably spoke with the General Manager on 13 different occasions and he blews us off or passed us off to some other employee we could never get in touch with.

He simply refused to take the car back although I never left with the car nor was the deal ever even financed. He also refused and still refuses to give me my down payment back. Mind you, I never left with the car.  I did not see any cancelllation policy on the contract but my salesman told me I had three days.

This dealership is the worst I have ever experienced in my life.

Buyer’s Remorse Can Be a Bitter Pill to Swallow

AUTHOR: coast - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 05, 2022

They knew they had a dupe when you agreed to pay a deposit on the vehicle sight unseen without a test drive. You are now suffering from a case of buyer’s remorse.

The terms of a written signed contract do not extend beyond the four corners of the contract; therefore, the terms of a verbal agreement are not binding.

Refusing to take possession of the vehicle does not entitle you to receive a refund of your deposit. It appears that you have no prior car shopping or negotiating experience. Well, you do now.

Happy motoring!
