This roofing company does put on a good roof, no doubt! In fact excellent, but it is NOT worth the headache of dealing with the owner Thomas Balkins, nor his right hand Tommy. This guy is scattered, he never shuts up, he sends pages and pages of non stop full letters over text messages. Those text messages and his constant chattyness are all excuses as to why the job is not started yet, or why the job is not finished yet, or why there is yet ANOTHER COMPLICATION, or why the crew has not been paid yet, etc. But this is not the worst of it, no matter what the home project is, if Thomas Balkins has his hands in it, you will have mistakes, you will have delay after delay, you will have damage to your grass, damage to your driveway, damage to your deck, the wrong colors will be ordered, more delays, weather delays, crew delays, trust me, it is NOT WORTH IT. Half the time the guy smells like beer, terrible beer breath and no teeth, I don't know... meth teeth? Anyway you will get a good roof in the end, after 6,8,10,12,18 + months, I will give Westurn that, nice roof.... would never have Balkins do a property of mine again. Never. There are dozens of professional roofing companies, Westurn is not one of those companies that I would call professional, I would call them surely a s*** show.
