Willow Glen Painting Bad job, not on time, aggressive/shouting/screaming owner. Santa Clara California

On 02/03/2020, I hired Willow Glen Painting to paint and smooth the walls in my kitchen and nook. I had the most horrible experience with the owner of this business. The paint job is terrible, and the customer service was horrific. Every time I wanted him to fix what he messed up, he was screaming like a maniac. He was screaming and swearing with my young children in the house for two weeks, even when he wasn’t engaging with anyone and he was just doing his job. 

Many times he only had one person working, and it took him longer than it was supposed to. The cabinets doors are a different shade of white on the inside, than they are on the outside. The windows are rough, like they were not sanded enough. Parts of the baseboard feels very rough and is impossible to wipe the dust. He sanded a place that he wasn’t supposed to paint  in the hallway and he just left it like that.

The person who skim coated the wall didn’t really know what he was doing, as there are little holes and imperfections all over the place. One part of the celling has some big dark stains on it. The last day he was here, I wanted to check and point to the things that were not done right, but I couldn’t because he started to scream again. In the evening he said that he’s done painting and started cleaning up; he was supposed to come the next day to finish cleaning, but the next day I fired him. That evening, after he left, I checked out the kitchen and couldn’t believe how many things were not done right.

I paid him $6,000 before he finished, out of the $10,000 that he asked, and now we have to pay someone else to do it right. There are too many things that look terrible, so I’ll just let the pictures prove his work. These pictures were taken the morning right after he was done. Paint was chipping already after one night.

Also, I saw him at Home Depot one day, and he was very aggressive to me, calling me names and jumping at me.
