This is the email sent to wish.com customer service. The email outlines the issue that I have with this company.

 

Dear Wish Customer Service Team,

I took advantage of the $0.50 sale and by the time I checked out, the items below were no longer $0.50.  This has caused a huge issue on my credit card. I am requesting that you cancel these items and  refund me the charges ASAP !   It is totally unfair and bad business practice to change the prices once item are in my shopping cart. I don't feel this is a fair business practice and totally an unprofessional way to do business with a customer. These purchases are all gifts and the reason I purchased them. I will be contacting my bank, credit card company and the Better Business Bureau about this unfortunate situation. I am requesting  call from a representative ASAP.   Also, it would make more sense  and better business practice if the first person who clicks on the item gets it immediately, and once they go to check out, they are then charged. Instead of charging a customers card for an item that they may not even have, though its in their cart. Make to sense at all to charge  a customers  credit card first and then have the customer wait 24 hours to find out if they actually bought the item. That should be totally illegal. Not to mention that the customer then must wait 3-7 days to get a refund to their credit or debit cards. I am not happy about this at all and this practice shoudl be banned.       Thank you for your time attention to this matter.
