A To Z 5 Points Services Center, Owner Dave Engaged in Deceptive and Unfair Business Practices by Misdiagnosing the Root Cause of The Issue With my Vehicle. Levittown, Pennsylvania

In 03/23, I took my 2000 Hyundai Tiburon vehicle to A to Z Auto Repair for repair on my engine light. The cost I paid $1,351 specifically for exhaust manifold I was told was the problem in which engine light remained on. I then paid over $4000 there after, for various repairs that was not the core of the problem as well. However, the shop failed to properly diagnose the root issue, which was later found to be a faulty transmission by another mechanic leaving my vehicle in a non-working condition. New mechanic (Tony) stated A to Z should have known it was the transmission through results of diagnoses they performed. Not only did A to Z five points misdiagnose the problem, but they also falsely claimed to have replaced parts like the clutch with no proof, when no such repair work was actually performed. As a result, my vehicle remains inoperable, and I am out thousands of dollars. The shop accuse me of harrassment because of my complaints to state agencies. I filed complaints with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office, Better Business Bureau( only enter business in their database) and the Federal Trade Commission. I provided documentation of the invoices, repair orders, and the company's deceptive statements. However, A to Z Auto Repair continues to deny any wrongdoing and has not provided any reimbursement or compensation for their negligent repair work. Despite my efforts through proper channels, I have been unable to resolve this issue or receive any satisfactory resolution from the company. As a consumer who has been blatantly misled and financially exploited, I believe this case highlights the need for greater accountability and oversight in the auto repair industry. Especially, for me being a woman.
