Zohar Abikzer Cohen involved with fraudulent corporations, including Nine Shell Gas Stations LLC and Old American Financial LP, New York New York

This report highlights the activities of Zohar Abikzer Cohen, an individual who is operating fraudulent real estate schemes in New York City. Working under multiple aliases, Cohen is associated with several corporations, including Nine Shell Gas Stations LLC and Old American Financial LP, which are fronts for illegal activities. His associates inclue Katie Bodner, David Warsh, and Michael Alvarado, whom all play roles in these fraudulent endeavors.

 
I rented my Manhattan apartment to a group represented by Cohen and his associates. Cohen, who used the alias Zac Cohen, conducted an initial inspection on behalf of an alleged employee, Victoria Breshova. However, Breshova is not a legitimate employee but instead is Cohen’s mistress. After securing the lease, Cohen and Breshova occupied the property but failed to fulfill their rental obligations. The only payments made were a security deposit and the first month’s rent, after which no further payments were made, leaving me with over a year and months of unpaid rent.
 
Modus Operandi: Cohen and his associates engage in this scam across multiple properties, leasing real estate under fraudulent pretenses, failing to pay rent, and then using intimidation tactics against property owners who attempt to have them removed. When confronted about the unpaid rent and asked to vacate the premises, Cohen resorted to harassment and attempted blackmail. Moreover, this group has connections within the Midtown South Precinct of the NYPD, where officers participate in the harassment by calling landlords. 
 
Actions Taken: In response to the harassment, I reported the behavior of the officers to the Internal Affairs Bureau of the NYPD, which handles allegations of police misconduct. I warn against doing any business with Cohen or anyone connected to him, they are major scam artists operating in New York City.
