I was looking to buy a Xerox docucolor 240 off eBay when I came across one that belonged to a company called Pinecle Copy & Print  . I contacted them by phone to get more information about the machine the person that answered his name is Kevin and was very helpful.

After a couple of phone calls I agreed on buying from them  two Xerox docucolor 240s for $7750 each with a meter that does not exceed 400000 clicks and in good shape plus  4 complete sets of supplies for the machines for an extra $3900 Totaling $19,400 for the whole deal.
The machines where to be transported by pinecle copy & print  to a trusted ship forwarder that I have done a lot of business with before with no problems.
The machines arrived 4 weeks late to the ship forwarder, after 10s of phone calls .

Then when the container arrived at its final destination we opened the boxes and found no supplies then when we turned on the machines at the presence of a certified Xerox tech. one machine had over 670000 clicks and does not print because of error codes and the other has 490000 clicks with a monitor that does not work and also does not print because of error codes  plus  both machines do not have the expensive SCSI cables  that connects the machine to its Fiery .
When I contacted pinecle Copy & Print LLC.  and informed them with my discovery and asked for explanation they denied and said we sell many machines and have a lot of satisfied customers?!!! What about my supplies ? they answered that they sent them.

As if I was born yesterday.

We would like to first say this comes as a surprise to us.  Rather than debate this thing which would do neither him or us any good, we would like to offer an appology that you feel the way you do.  We have been in the copier/printer industry for over 17 years and client satisfaction is among our top priorities, whether they be retail customers or resellers/dealers such as the gentleman here.

I am the main shipping supervisor of Pinnacle Copy & Print, LLC.  According to company records, this gentleman ordered machines over the ebay as he says but he did not send the money until much later.  It then took time for the bank to clear funds because his business is in a foreign country (outside the United States).  I can appreciate he may have enjoyed receiving them sooner so he could resell them and make a profit sooner but we can only ask that he respect that we must
receive the funds and the funds must clear our bank (be confirmed good by our bank) before we can
ship equipment out of the United States.  Any delays were the result of banking laws and practices for which we have no control. It can only be assumed that the gentleman was urgent to get this equipment as he was a fellow copier dealer in his country and I believe was looking to resell them to his client(s).

In terms of the comments about our serving numerous clients this is true as we generally sell over 100 machines monthly throughout the U.S. and abroad.  None of our clients are more important to us than another and we value anyone who does business with us.  We try to take the time, dedication and patience to actively work with them, answer their questions and help them in any reasonable manner.  This customer was not a retail customer but rather a wholesaler who bought the machines at wholesale pricing and in wholesale condition.  We told him some minor work, such as clearing codes, might be required upon his receipt but that the machines would be checked out and confirmed passing paper.  The industry norm is that they pass paper and be intact and it is assumed that the customer (reseller/dealer) has the knowleadge and ability to perform whatever basic technicial work is required to the machines prior to delivering them to their customer.  With a retail customer this work is performed by our technicians and the machines are priced higher in accordance with the work having to be performed.

The machines were confirmed operational and in good condition and passing paper before being shipped out.  I do not know that we ever said anything with regards to meters as this is not something we usually have available nor provide because our wholesale customers generally refurbish the machines to new condition for resale purposes to their clients when they receive them and the meter is usually of little concern to them.

Since these machines were tested prior to being shipped the cables had to be with the machines when they were shipped.  However, we are dedicated to happy customers and since we work with these machines on a regular basis, we would be happy to help him/supply with any cable concerns.  All he had to do is ask.

I send best regards to this client and if he still needs a couple of cables he is encouraged to let me or anyone with the firm know and we'll help him get them.
