This web hosting company engages in deceptive sales practices and fraudulent billing. They advertised 3 web domains for $9.99 for 3 months as a trial.

I did not use the domains, so I cancelled the account prior to the end of the 90 days.

Nonetheless they continued to bill me and charged my credit card $29.97 after 3 months. When I complained, I was informed I had signed up for a 1 year contract which is blatantly false.

After giving up and hanging up, I got an email that my account had been cancelled, so I did not go to my bank to get the charges reversed.

Then, today, I recieved notice that another $29.97 was being charged to my account.

Again I called and got the runaround.

When I checked with the Pennsylvania Better Business Bureau, I found that 730 complaints have been filed against this company in the past 3 years.

There are several Rip-Off Reports, so this company is a scam and they are crooks. I am going to have to cancel my credit card, because I am very concerned they may make other unauthorized charges.

After months of frustration, I read some advice on this site from an attorney who made recommendations to get my money back.  I went ahead and filed a complaint with the PA Better Business Bureau, and with the State Attorney General.  Within a few weeks, I was notified that a refund for the charges was being issues.  It was only about $60, but it was the principal that mattered. Thanks Ripoff Report for these postings. Without the advice of the other posters, I would not have gotten my money back.

I learned when I searched the BBB in PA that over 700 complaints have been filed against this company.
