Beware of 1shoppingcart.com, this is another company that has policies to ripoff their clients. They will not allow you to cancel within 7 days of your renewal and will not give a refund. This policy is so that they can bill you one last time. When I requested a cancellation they blocked my immediately even though  they have billed me for an entire month.
There are much better options than 1shoppingcart / 1shoppingcart.com. there are much more reputable services just look.

1Shoppingcart.com Billing Policies

AUTHOR: JustinB - (Canada)

POSTED: Thursday, December 03, 2009

While I understand why this customer feels the way they do, I must admit that our published billing policies and associated refund policies are clearly stated to all customers who register for our service. We ask that all customers review and accept our terms of service and encompassing billing policy prior to registering for our service.

Our billing policy allows anyone to cancel at any time. In other words we do not have any long term contracts and all services are provided on month-to-month pay-as-you-go subscription. We also offer an option to pre-pay annually at a discounted rate.

Our service handles sensative credit card information on behalf of our customers and as such we have some security preacautions around our cancellation process. We ask that all customers call our billing department to request cancellation of their account. We then verify information to ensure the account owner is the one requesting the cancellation and then we cancel the account effectively at that time. If the customer still has time remaining on their subscription that they would like to use, we will keep the account open until the next billing date at which case we will close the account and will not bill for the following subscription period.

Our cancellation policy asks that all customers provide us with 7 days notice prior to their next billing date to request cancellation for the account. This allows us the necessary time to prevent the next subscription payment from being processed.

In some cases our customers will call with less than 7 days prior to their next billing and ask to cancel. In these cases we almost always will close the account immediately at the customer's request which will prevent the next charge from going through. However, if the customer wishes to use the service to the end of their billing period and they did not provide the 7 days notice, then we will collect a final payment prior to closing the account.

This is all outlined in our published terms of service that every customer sees and agrees to before registering. We certainly make no effort to hide this information and in most cases as I described above we try our best to accomodate our customers even if the terms are not followed exactly as written.
