I sought to place an order to purchase a gift for Son’s wedding. (#400016736). I received notice via email that my requested item (the “Sovereign Gift Set”) was not available. I respond with a detailed email specifying the items I wanted in its stead with a likewise detailed note on the difference in pricing. (Original item: $84.85, replacement items: $82.40, Result: $2.45 credit back to me. My email was ignored and your representative called me and insisted that the exchange was a “wash.” And out rightly refused to even acknowledge my email…
But wait, there’s more…
After calling back about the price difference and still waiting for a response to my email, I received the package. The “engraving” is a self-adhesive plate with the requested initials printed on it? The items were not at all packed but clearly just tossed in an oversized box with a couple of pieces of bubble wrap and as result the ordered gel cup opened and was the gel was all over the other items. I received the box on the afternoon of December 23rd and I immediately called and your representative (“Kaili”?) who dismissed my concern with the excuse that it is Christmas and they are busy and since the humidor was not damaged I should just be satisfied and she took my contact information and promised to call me on the 24th and again she refused to acknowledge my email and my $2.45 credit due…
Need I note that she did not call on December 24th…
But wait, there’s more….
I called back on December 26th and unfortunately had to speak with the SAME representative (despite asking to speak with a manager or supervisor) who promptly began to argue with me and talk over me stating how she mailed out the replacement gel cup and “threw in a lighter” and how basically I should just be satisfied with that. I noted to her that she needed to realize that I was the customer and her rudeness was extremely unacceptable. She just continued to over-talk me making it plain that she had no concern for anything I had to say. I ended the conversation as it was clearly a fruitless effort…
Still no acknowledgment of my email, still no mention of the $2.45 credit due back to me and definitely not a hint of apology for the poor service.
