Stay away from 1st National Processing of Calabasas, CA (merchant number: 4468 2501 0549632). There is a clear lack of business ethics and brazen disregard for false practices.

I canceled service with 1st National Processing (26707 W Agoura Road, Calabasas, CA, 91302) in December of 2008 and they assured me that they would no longer be billing me for their merchant services. Since then, I have been charged directly out of my business account for the last 4 months for a service they no longer provide, nor do I use. I have had numerous phone conversations and have faxed numerous documents to resolve the matter, but they continue to charge my business account.

My most recent conversation on 4/7/09 was with a representative that said they would refund the amount owed to me for the false charges accrued over the last 4 months if and only if I resumed service with them. I questioned him on what I believed to be his actual message are you saying that I can be refuned the amount of money you have falsely charged me if I agree to assume business with you. Why would I want to do business with a company that clearly practices corruption? His answer was there is nothing in it for me (1st National Processing) if you don't, what's my incentive? It's important to note that in each conversation I have had with 1st National Processing, the representatives has conceded that they were billing me falsely. And, each conversation I was told that they charges would be refunded and no further billing would occur.

First Red flag: I initially canceled with 1st National Processing last year when I found out that my services charges were raised at the end of my term without being informed. I only found out by a validation in cost increases when reviewing my expense. I called and asked why there was an increase and why I was informed. I was told that the increase was necessary and it was not 1st National Processing responsibility to inform me of increases. It was then I canceled and found a new provider.

The ONLY way to prevent 1st National Processing from taking even more of our money out of my business account was to physically close my bank account and activate a new one at considerable disruption to my business.

Stay away from 1st National Processing, and please see the many other businesses that have been ripped-off by this companies fraudulent practices.

THIS COMPLAINT IS NOT AGAINST 1ST NATIONAL PROCESSING NEW YORK

AUTHOR: Mike - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 01, 2010

Please Note: This complaint is not from a client of 1st National Processing New York. 1st National Processing New York is an independent sales office and provide our own customer service to our clients. There are over 100 across the nation. Just like insurance brokers. The independent sales office who services this client obviously dropped the ball and did not help their merchant. Please don't be confused, this is another Independent Sales Office , not 1st National Processing New York.
