1stoplighting Sent me damaged merchandise and won't pay for the return of this merchandise. Internet
Sometime in early 2014 (3-2014) I ordered a table lamp from this store. Several months passed and I heard nothing from 1stop so I emailed them an inquary. They responded by telling me that there was an issue with their supplier and I would not receive the lamp until June 8th. Sometime in mid June I again contacted them and asked about the status of my order. They said they would check and get right back to me. Shortly thereafter, they emailed me and said they contacted the supplier and a lamp was on the way.
Two days later the lamp arrived, and to our dimay, it was damaged. I contacted customer service and told them it was damaged and wished to return the lamp. Customer service sent me the return authorization, but refused to pay for the return shipping. I sent them an email, explaining my disgust with them, but they have yet to respond. I now have to go to FedEX and return the lamp at my expense. I will never purchase from these people again.
Had I damaged the lamp, I could understand their refusal to pay.
