IRS Agents from India.
I just received a very disturbing phone call from 202-506-9240 (From India but disguised as Washington DC area code).
Claiming that I owe IRS money (over $3500.) and they would arrest me on Monday morning with the penalty of $40,000.
After I plead, they told me that they would settle if I go to bank get the cash and wait for instruction how to send them the money via (EFTPS)
while they maintain continuous contact with cell phone. and if I get disconnected they will arrest me.
The scammers were from India with very thick accent.
