How can they STILL be in business??!!
http://chicago.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=46&bbb=0654&firm=36000239

This is what I wrote in my complaint to the Chicago BBB:

Someone stole my PayPal card number sometime this past week, when I ordered magazines for $2.00 per each magazine offer. I was then charged on Sunday $94.87 ! (In addition to the $2.00 per mag sub!) Then I have 3 "other" fraudulent charges on my PayPal that are NOT my purchases! (Total of $36.00) Nice days work for them! It all started after I completed an order online last week for my grand daughter. A window popped up with an offer for a great deal on magazines... BEWARE!!! of Publicationsmax.com From what I'm finding out now about this company/companies... They should be run out of business!

Your Desired Resolution:
I'd like to know WHO it was that did this and have them prosecuted! Also - A public apology to me and all their customers on their websites AND a written apology to me from the owner and explanation of HOW this happened and how they are rectifying it now and in the future. And just in case they didn't learn from the error of their ways, they should donate $2,500.00 to their local food bank and $2,500.00 to the USO.com

It would be nice to get my $130.00 back also. Thank-You, XXXXX

PublicationsMax responded with:

While I cannot be sure who fraudulently used your PayPal acct, I can apologize for any problems you encountered with my company, PublicationsMax. I believe I can help you to rectify this situation. Please call to speak to a customer service representative at 886-624-2877 as soon as possible. By providing us with some basic information, such as your name and zip code, we can look up your account to clear up any problems. If you are unsatisfied in any way, we will reasonably terminate your order and provide refunds. To better understand the charges to your account, please see our details and terms at https://www.magazineburst.com/TC45195dFive.php.

I was charged $87.84 for an ad that stated 5 magazines for $27.00. It has been two months since I called stating I wanted my money back because I was overcharged. I was told I did not read the fine print but there was no fine print to read and the only thing on the ad was for the 5 magazines for $27.00. Every time I call all I receive are excuses and that my money will be posted in 3-5 days. Again this has been going on for two months. Mr. Berman's claim that if you call customer service, your problems will be cleared. That is not the case with the last contact with PublicationsMax being Wednesday morning and I was told their old credit card processing company was not posting properly to accounts and that they hired a new credit card processing company. I still do not have my money. I have contacted the US Attorney General, the Illinois State Attorney General and the Illinois State BBB. I am also filing out paperwork to dispute the charge.
