It all started with water damage.  When I moved into my home, the shower floor was falling through from a faulty shower. 21st Mortgage was kind enough to have the shower fixed.  I later found out the company was a contractor that was banned from most mobile home parks for doing such horrible business.  I later down the road, due to faulty construction, had (still do) black mold under the trailer, in my floors, and in my walls from the walls not being put in right nor the drain, and water has been seeping through 1/3 of my home.  I called 21st and they wanted to send the same company to repair it.  I said no way, I have my own person and I will take responsibility.  They said no and they chose another company. That company did such a horrible job, it would now take thousands to fix it.  21st offered me 3000 to walk away from the home.  problem was that was not enough to buy a home and I did not make enough to purchase another one of equal value.  They never fixed this, ignored my attorney's attempts of contact to settle this.  Now, I have lost my job and am trying to sell the home.  the park wants to buy it at 7000.  I owe roughly 9900.  I brought the offer up to 21st to pay 7000 and be dome with it.  They said they want all the money in full.  That is all thie park is willing to pay since they are going to invest so much money before they can sell it.They wont settle for a 7000 dollar pay off, and want me to sign to pay payments on the difference...so I said I would.  Well now they have changed their minds and seem to want a second person to sign with me.  Seriously?????  I am the only one coming up with ways to settle this, they are not bending at ALL.  In this economy, I thought a 7000 payoff to walk away is an excellent offer!!!! They are rude, condescending, treat me like a complete idiot.  WTF can I do??????? They cannot talk to you like a normal person.  I am hoping I have enough money to drive out of state to live with friends and family til I can get on my feet again, and I dont have time for this?  What would you do???
