24hrcorp Chris Dorpat Contracted me for work and did not pay or explain why Minnesota

this company contracts individuals to do occupancy inspections on homes that are either forclosed on or the home owener is late and the bank has the inspector leave a note for the home owner . 

I was doing this type of work for other company's when I started work for 24hrcorp .  

This inspectors are concidered a contractor and do not receive any perks of being an employee . 

I have to use my own car , gas , printer , camera , computer , all at my expense . 

The pay is usually a month out from the time the jobs are done . 

When I first started for 24hrcorp it was a great company to work for , I was allways paid on time , comunications with my rep was always very good and they company provided excellent support . 

After working for them a few months things kind of got shook up and my state rep. left the company . At that time The owner Chris Dorpat began comunicating with me directly , most of which was to aks me on numerous ocations to do extra work much of which was way out of my area I was supposed to cover . 

I took the extra work because I wanted to be concidered reliable , and I did have a very good reputation with the company .     I sometimes had to ask for an advance to cover the extra expensis for taking on the extra area's that were no mine . 

Things continued to fall apart with the company and two more state reps were hired and let go each time Chris would start comunication directly with me . 

About a month before I stopped working for them I was asked once again to take on an area that was out of my normal area and I said yes without hesitation .    

Shortly after wich I asked for a small advance on money I had all ready earned and I was told that they did not have they money to advance me 200.00 . 

I continued to do my jobs but comunications became all most non existant even when I would send multiple emails to my rep and to Chris . 

My last check was supposed to be about 1500.00 but it did not come , after multiple emails text and phone calls I was told that it would be 3 days late due to errror in billing on the company's part . 

IT was in fact 4 days late and came with an email from Chris saying that I had some late jobs and he was just paying me 1000.00 ,    he did not provide any detail about which jobs did or did not pay . 

I stopped working for them and sent an email with an attachment with detail of every job I was owed money on , I asked in the email that they please pay me what was owed or provide a list of jobs with explanation of why I was not paid .     I GOT NO REPSONSE . 

Two weeks later when I did not get a response I sent another email and was asked about 10 jobs that the pictures had been messed up on .    I told them that when my state rep informed me about those jobs I went out the next day and re inspected those jobs . 

Still no response and payday comes and goes with no pay , no explanation , nothing . 

So its Christmas time now and they owe me 500.00 in my estimate , and have not emailed me , called me , texted me , nothing . 

I could have used that money to buy presents for my family , I am quit sure that I probably spent half that much in gas doing the jobs that I was not paid for . 

They still have adds in Craigslist Houston for inspectors so I would not repsond to the adds unless you want to spend your money on gas and not know if you would be paid . 

If they do decide to pay me , I will amend this report with an update but I am not holding my breath , they do work all over the USA and I am sure feel as if they are out of reach of legal action because they are in another state .
