3 Rivers Federal Credit Union, Fort Wayne Charges Members Bogus Fees Fort Wayne Indiana

I have been a Member of 3 Rivers Federal Credit Union in Fort Wayne, IN for only seven months -- and seven months is too long!! They charge Members a gross amount of Fees for potential overdrafts they title "Uncollected Fees Charge."

The way it works is this, if they think you're going to overdraft your account, even though you may make a deposit before your account goes negative, they charge you $30!!! For example, your balance is $5,000. You a use your debit card for $400. The debit card is pending but has not posted. You have written a check for $4,700. The checks post on the same day you make a deposit in your account for another $1,000, they will still charge you $30 for this -- even though the account has not gone negative. BOGUS!!

In the meantime, their online accouting is so screwed up that they do not report accurate information regarding your account. They do not show pending transactions, and the your "available" amount will change minute to minute, even with no account activity!!

I have banked many places, and never have had so many problems, errors, miscommunications, and what I feel to be OUTRIGHT LIES from this bank!! Oops, Credit Union!! I have spoken with many other business owners that have had the same or similar problems. Maybe this institution is just not "business friendly." BE WARNED!! Go to another bank! Do not business bank with 3 Rivers FCU!!
