360 Mortgage Group Warning!

I was burned by 360 Mortgage Group also. Mostly by Mark Greco, whose real name is Jonathan Mark Greco. It is amazing what you can learn about him if you check public records. I can't believe anyone with that record would be allowed in the mortgage business. Check out his previous business, Echelon Mortgage in Austin.

Mr. Greco is a front for the real owner of 360 and now he is running a guy named Andy as a front for him. Company information given to a company they did business with shows the majority of the company is owned indirectly by Barksdale Hortenstine, apparently from Houston, Texas. The people with integrity that started the company have all left, the parties remaining are the ones with the questionable reputations in the lending community.

Word on the street is that several parties are about to file suit on 360. If so, you may find that their banks stop doing business with them and the people they sell loans to may terminate relationships. If you have a loan pending during that time, you might get caught in a very unpleasant circumstance and you might find that your loan does not fund.

You will also find that Mark's wife, Diana Greco works for the company as an Account Executive as evidenced by information they make available on a regular basis. Her phone number is listed on that widely distributed document. This could be helpful as Mr. Greco is reputed to dodge phone calls. Before you do business in any way with this company, check out their reputation, check with public records on the managers and trust that people that take the time to write these testimonials do so because they have in deed been burned. And, realize that if they don't say good things, they might have been paid not to say bad things! Really think about that one.

If you do get burned, you can file a complaint for free. Start with the Texas Attorney General's office. Also, lenders are required to give you a disclosure at loan application that tells you how to file a complaint against them. That is much cheaper and faster than hiring an attorney but taking money away from them in court might be the only language they understand. Get a good attorney for that because these guys will go for your jugular. And remember, the authorities act VERY slow on these matters.
