Wife signed up for two trial periods that were supposedly free. Noticed 2 charges for approximately $5 each that indicated shipping and handling, which was fine. Advert indicated that there would be no further charges without a call from an agent.

First shipment of two different supplements appeared. 

An agent did in fact call, asking if wife would like to continue receiving product. Wife said no thank you. 

Fast forward three months. One bottle of pills arrives. I check account, and notice an approximately $80 charge. This prompts us to call, at which point agent says "no cancellation occurred" and wife responds that "when the agent called after the trial period I declined further product." Agent says nothing can be done, no refunds. 

This is when things get outrageous. Upon calling the credit card company to challenge the transaction, I do some digging and find out there are five other charges for $80. Not only has this company been charging $160 per month, but they haven't even been sending product!

Bank of America credit card department makes the likelihood of success grim, as they indicate the company will likely say the subscription was never challenged. Nothing is mentioned on the fact that no product whatsoever was even received for those middle charges, but what is implied is that the company will simply say that they did in fact send product. This is a sharp contrast from Bank of America debit card policy (which was more consumer-friendly), so I can't say the problem pervades all of Bank of America. Still, its disappointing. The only way to be sure that we wouldn't be charged again was to close the card.
