I have been with 3iX for many years. I have stayed with them because their uptime is over 90% (note: this is not even close to their advertised stability), but their price was good. Their service is sub-par. Tickets often require followups (sometimes dozens of additional messages). Tickets become lost, answers often do not address the problem, and almost without fail, the company will attempt to redirect the blame for the problem on the client. Note: I never contact 3iX before researching the problems, of which there a numerous (statistics: an overaage on one per month). I every case, they have been at fault. However, they have never once admitted such or apologized.

This month, they called me for my biannual billing, then sent emails about payment, even though I am on a preauthorized payment plan for them. So before the cutoff date, I made an online payment on their site (note, this normally takes several attempts and can cause you to pay them more than once. I was careful this time and only continued once I was sure the previous attempt failed). Several days later, their preauthorized was processed. So I opened a ticket. Then I opened several more tickets and emails. No response. So I had the payment cancelled. They promptly cut off my account EVEN THOUGH THEY ALREADY HAD PAYMENT. It's been a couple of weeks, with daily tickets or emails from me, no response from them, no resolution. Very unethical.

Today, I sent a legal notice. They began to send responses saying that my messages were not receivable.

Note that the issues with them are varied. They changed their site restrictions often and without notice. They do not consider or seemingly care about the impact on the user. They constantly lock my IP address so that I do not have access. These are often daily or weekly concerns.

 

In reading the comments of the others on this site, I sympathize. I have experienced every one of these problems. Use at your risk.
